Demigryph
Demigryph
Demigryphs are a truly captivating and majestic species, resembling large cats the size of mountain lions, with beautifully patterned fur. What sets them apart are the vibrant feathers that adorn their crests, shoulders, and tails—developed shortly after birth. In their culture, the brighter and more striking the feathers, the more beautiful and dominant the Demigryph is considered to be.
These highly intelligent yet predatory beings exist in two distinct tribes: the "Feral" and the "Civil." Feral Demigryphs are fiercely independent and opportunistic, driven by survival instincts that make them hostile and aggressive. Civil Demigryphs, however, have forged sacred alliances with the Southertail Naga, working together in harmonious partnership. Whether offering aid across species or teaming up for hunts, the Civil Demigryphs are far more reasonable and social by nature, making them ideal companions.
For companionship, only Civil Demigryphs will be offered due to their more approachable and balanced personalities. These Demigryphs excel in telepathic communication, often preferring this method to express their thoughts and emotions, as they are unable to speak verbally. Their physical senses are incredibly sharp, making them excellent protectors and bodyguards—especially when rewarded with offerings, which they highly appreciate.
If you're seeking a companion with an air of regal ferocity and a deep sense of loyalty, a Civil Demigryph will provide both sharp insight and steadfast protection, ensuring you're never alone in the wilds of both the physical and astral realms.
